Homes
Common sense informs us that we should protect and conserve our natural resources whenever possible. We believe that significant progress can be made on this front with a little creativity and minimal sacrifice. The challenge is that society has by in large sought solutions to problems based on the premise that natural resources are abundant and as if they were infinite. Of course, we continue to be reminded that this is not the case as the population of the planet increases and we see examples of where we are stretching the limits of many natural resources.
Conservation practices will be focused on water, energy, and natural habitat.

Water Conservation
Planting native landscaping in all common areas will conserve water. We will suggest the same for all homes.

Energy Conservation

  • Native landscaping to minimize irrigation needs

  • Recycling collection facility

  • Efficient low light pollution street and outdoor lighting

  • Cisterns and water retention areas for common space irrigation

  • Connection of trail system to state bike path system

Natural Habitat Preservation
All Community structures and street lighting will be the most efficient available in the market. We would like to power all these items with alternative renewable sources such as solar and wind power.

  • Community Center and landscape electricity from wind turbines and solar panels

  • Geothermal in community structures
