The following images show the natural characteristics of the land. By identifying the natural characteristics of the land and compiling these areas as overlays, we are able to identify the areas of the site that would be best to build on. Of all the characteristics we need to understand, water is possibly the most important. We must let the water patterns of the site dictate where we put structures.
